Judith is an army widow, Cornish born, but with family links to Somerset. Judith’s four times great-grandmother, Mary Tucker, was a Somerset heiress whose own grandfather was Thomas Marwood, physician to Queen Elizabeth 1. Her nomadic military life taught her to assimilate quickly through local churches, charities and schools. Having now lived in Crewkerne for six years, she is a trustee of Crewkerne U3A and Crewkerne Hospital, is a steward at the Heritage Centre as well as a Governor at St Bart’s School.
